The Scottish Salmon Company recognises that people are our greatest asset. The staff are critical to the success of our company, we are proud of our people and are committed to improving staff skills through training, motivation and education. To achieve this goal an innovative model and competency framework 'The Scottish Salmon Company Academy' has been developed to provide every member of staff an individual opportunity to achieve competencies within the aquaculture industry.

In 2007 we were awarded the national training award from LANTRA (the Sector Skills Council for Environmental & Land-Based Training) and in 2008 The Crown Estate Commission Scottish Marine Aquaculture Award for Training and Education.
