Our Community - Gaelic Initiatives

The Scottish Salmon Company appreciates the importance of the Gaelic language in culture in many of the areas in which we operate. It is an important part of the community identity, cultural life and it is a vital communication asset for the company.

We have implemented a Gaelic initiative and have enlisted the help of Hugh Dan MacLennan as translator and advisor. He has been, at various times, Secretary of the Gaelic Society of Inverness and of the Gaelic Language Promotion Trust and is currently working with Bòrd na Gàidhlig on their Management Team.
