Dr Stewart McLelland, CEO

Dr McLelland  took over as CEO from Bill Hazeldean in January 2012. He was promoted from Chief Operating Officer and his other roles before The Scottish Salmon Company included Managing Director of Food Partners Group, part of the Adelie Food Group, and as Managing Director of the Macrae Food Group. Previously, he was Technical Manager, Food Technology at Waitrose.

Rob Wilson, CFO

Rob Wilson is a Chartered Management Accountant. He was previously Group Finance Director of Cumbrian Seafoods Ltd. Prior to this appointment he carried out various roles within the UK based feed manufacturing divisions of Nutreco BV before transferring to Marine Harvest (Scotland) Ltd where he was Finance Director for 5 years.

Brian Floyd, Production Manager

Brian has worked with the Company since 1991. For the past 5 years he has been production manager at Pan Fish Scotland, where he was previously Marine Site Manager and Area Manager.

Brian holds a diploma in Aquaculture from Inverness College and a diploma in Nautical Studies from the Glasgow College of Nautical Studies.


Dale Hill, Technical Manager
Dale has held the position of Technical Manager for the Company since November 2007. Dale's aquaculture career began 20 years ago after her graduation from University with a BSc Degree in Applied Biology. Dale has held previous posts within the Aquaculture Industry in Freshwater, as Fish Health Biologist, Q.C Manager and prior to her most recent appointment held the post of Processing Manager with Pan Fish Scotland for 5 years. Dale is a member of the Royal Environmental Health Institute of Scotland.


Alan Brown, General Manager North
Alan has recently been appointed General Manager North. He served as Processsing and Harvest Manager for the Company since October 2007. He has a BEng. Hons in Mechanical Engineering. Alan was previously employed in the medium steel fabrication prior to a change of direction into aquaculture. He joined Fjord Seafoods Ltd in 2001 and helped introduce the concept of "pre-rigor" filleting.
