Salmon is one of the world’s healthiest, most nutritious foods. Well recognised as meeting nutritional requirements for all: from children to adults, pregnant women to the elderly.
The Food Standards Agency (FSA) recommends that everybody should be eating more oil-rich fish such as salmon, due to the benefits of its long chain Omega 3 fatty acids. Salmon is also low in calories and saturated fat, yet high in protein – good for healthy immune and circulatory systems. It is also a great source of protein, niacin and vitamin B12, and a quality source of phosphorus, magnesium, selenium and vitamin B6.
