Since 2014 The Scottish Salmon Company has been producing Scotland’s finest Label Rouge Scottish salmon. Not only do our salmon have to pass the strict Label Rouge criteria (low stocking density, 50% marine content in feed and a max 10 hour processing), all of our Label Rouge candidate salmon also have to pass a ‘Hand & Eye’ test before they are awarded the Label Rouge accreditation.
In 2018 we introduced our trademarked brand
name ‘Tartan Salmon’ to our packaging and sales support materials, to further
distinguish our Label Rouge salmon.
