Assistant Project Manager (Temporary 6 months FTC)

Location: Applecross, Kishorn Port

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, dependent on experience

Due to significant growth within the company, we are looking to recruit an Assistant Project Manager to work as directed by the Recirculation Project Manager to proactively support the development of our Freshwater sites.

A company vehicle is provided with this role. Frequent attendance on the site will be required and, if the successful candidate does not live locally, hotel accommodation will be provided.

Duties:

  • Regular Liaison with all relevant parties.
  • Procurement, purchase orders.
  • Liaising/Assisting Senior Project Managers.
  • Data Management.
  • Coordinating the project team & contractors.
  • Planning key tasks & timelines.
  • Reporting on progress and cost.
  • Site visits and meetings.

Skills/Experience:

  • Degree (minimum 2:2 or equivalent) in Project Management, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering.
  • Effective decision making and strong verbal and written communication.
  • Displays strong attention to detail, with a strong focus on accuracy. 
  • Proactive and driven work approach to work and creating success.
  • Ability to work in a team of diverse individuals to meet common objectives. 
  • Buy-in to achieving deadlines set by Clients and Managers.
  • Good organisation skills: ability to manage multiple priorities, routine tasks, fluctuating deadlines and willingness to ask for help when needed. 
  • Excellent working knowledge of MS Word and Excel.
  • Experience working with a Purchase Order system.
  • Hold a valid full driver’s licence.
