Feed Technician (12 Month FTC) - Portree

We are looking to recruit a Feed Technician to join the team at our Portree site on a 12 month fixed-term basis to cover a period of Maternity Leave.

Feed Technician

Location: Portree, Isle of Skye (what3words Location Code: ///december.arriving.sprains*)

Salary: Up to £25,216 pa (includes shift allowance). 

Entitled to additional non-contractual overtime (paid at x1.5 Monday to Saturday and x2 Sunday)

Contract Type: 12 month fixed-term contract (MAT Leave Cover)

Shift: Four days on, two days off

As a Feed Technician, you will support our Marine production team to deliver industry-leading performance in feed management. Working in one of our new state-of-the-art control rooms, you will help to optimise feeding across several sites. What we’re looking for from you:

  • Excellent computer and IT skills and an interest in aquaculture
  • Strong numerical skills; proficient in data analysis and reporting
  • Disciplined and motivated to support leading industry standards
  • High attention to detail and strong communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and flexible approach to rostering
  • Clean driver’s licence and able to undertake Sea Survival training
